  TORNADO PROJECT

INTRODUCTION

To produce electrical energy in a continuous way and at zero cost exploiting a natural phenomenon. This statement seems exceptional, but it is exactly what the technology we propose can achieve.
This technology uses the energy produced by artificial tornadoes, the control of which allows the production of electrical energy without fuels.
A decade-long basic research together with rigorous mathematical models has allowed the creation of such natural phenomena inside specific installations.
The tornadoes so produced are channeled towards a special turnine that generates electrical energy exploiting simultaneously the energy of the sun, thermical energy and wind power in an integrated plant which allows:
-          A high energy conversion efficiency (18%)[*]
-          No use of fuel
-          No pollution of air, water or soil
[*] by comparison, a natural tornado has an efficiency of energy conversion of 40%, whereas other artificial tornadoes reach at best 9%
The origin of tornadoes is found in the excess of thermical energy built up above a humid and warm mass of water (usually the sea), which is rapidly transformed into kinetic energy, in other words an intense vorticous motion of the air with minimal translational dispersion due to its isolated structure.  This often happens in the Gulf of Mexico.

HOW IT WORKS

Previous attempts around the world have improved our knowledge and reproduction of this natural phenomenon. Some real-life applications of artifical tornadoes have shown the validity of the concept in Spain, Australia and Canada.
In the proposed system, the mathematical models, adaptation of the well-known chimney effect, the improvements introduced with the creation of vortices and microvortices inside the upward stream of air, form the basis of the TORNADO plants that we are able to produce.
The masses of warm and humid air, the channeling towards a central funnel, the rotational motion of air and the microvortices have all been studied and replicated in the laboratory.
These studies, carried out at the University of Moscow in the last ten years, have led first to the mathematical representation of the phenomenon and then to the definition of the necessary structures  for its replication.
The green-houses for warming the air, the chimney for raising the air, the heat tanks for night operation and the creation of humid environments are calculated by means of mathematical models that allow the automatic specification of each TORNADO plant in all its components for the construction of autonomous power stations between 1MW to 5MW.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS

Each TORNADO system exploits solar radiation, differences in atmospheric pressure, internal vs. external tower temperature differences and the natural energy of the wind.
It works using a new principle of accumulation of heat that guarantees its continuous operation.  It employs the turbulence and the cyclotronic flow of air that is sent to a special patented turbine designed to maximise energy conversion efficiency.
